Job Title: LGV Tanker Driver - Class 1
Location: Grays

Contract Details: Full-time, permanent, 5am to 1pm


Responsibilities:

  • Perform commercial and domestic fuel deliveries using Rigid or Articulated tankers.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle checks at the start of each day.
  • Complete manual tachograph entries as required.
  • Ensure compliance with loading requirements at the location.
  • Deliver fuel accurately, on time, and in full to designated locations.
  • Report any discrepancies or delays to the Transport Department.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and update handheld devices regularly.
  • Complete end-of-day routines using handheld technology.

Special Conditions:

  • Must work under ADR Class 3 regulations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence for Class 1 & 2 HGVs.
  • Valid ADR licence covering Class 3 and Tanks.
  • Knowledge of Tachograph regulations and the Highway Code.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve issues in a customer-facing role.
  • Good physical fitness is essential for this demanding job.
