Our client is seeking an detail-oriented Asbestos Report Checker, who has a keen eye for detail and strong technical knowledge. You will be joining a privately-owned outfit who offer a wide range of asbestos management services to their client base. Applicants must have good interpersonal skills as the role will involve direct communication with clients and teams of site staff. It would be beneficial for applicants to hold industry-related modules and training courses, but these can be provided for hardworking individuals. Salaries and benefits are competitive.
You will need to be located close to: Grays, Tilbury, Hornchurch, Romford, Ilford, Barking, Chigwell, Epping, Harlow, Chelmsford, Enfield, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Hockley, Maldon, Witham, Braintree, Rochford, Burnham-on-Crouch, Bishop's Stortford, Barnet, Potters Bar, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working within a UKAS accredited asbestos company
- Able to process and quality check asbestos survey reports
- It would be advantageous to hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
- Good working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Strong organisation skills
- Excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
- Processing asbestos survey reports, proof-reading and making any required amendments
- Ensuring reports are checked and processed in a timely manner
- Liaising with site staff to discuss report contents
- Sending reports out to clients
- Updating managers on project progress
- Answering enquiries from clients
- General administrative duties to support the successful running of the business, such as data inputting and appointment booking
- Working to agreed KPIs
