Role: Maintenance Engineer
Shift: Mon-Fri Double Days (with callouts 1 in 5)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (O.T. 1.5 + 2.0)

Are you looking for a days only engineering position?
Our client is a massive manufacturing and processing company with footing in various processing industries. As a business they turnover £300 million a year and they supply their services to the biggest supermarkets and chains in the UK. This company has consistently invested £10 million per year in new automated equipment, machinery and Continuous Improvement projects for you to get working on. They will be investing £2 million in brand-new PLC equipment! They are looking for another motivated Maintenance Engineer to work on their brand-new equipment and bagging/packing lines!
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Fault finding on electrical components such as sensors, relays, contactors, inverters etc.
- Swapping out mechanical components like belts, bearings, sprockets, chains etc.
- Working on new and automated conveyors, bagging machines, elevators, blowers, packaging machines etc.
- Performing Reactive maintenance and PPMs
About You
The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
- A recognised engineering qualification
- Experience with, or a flexible mindset for, working effectively within a team
- Proven ability to work cohesively in an engineering environment
- A sound understanding of key electrical and mechanical components
