Project: Steel frame unit build with associated groundworks

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a steel frame unit build project, including all related groundworks, for one of our valued clients. The project is located near Grays, Thurrock. The successful candidate will take responsibility for day to day site operations, subcontractor coordination, health & safety compliance, and ensuring the programme runs to schedule. There will be no fitout works on this project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage site operations on a steel frame build

• Oversee groundworks and structural phases

• Coordinate subcontractors and site labour

• Monitor progress against the 24 week programme

• Deliver high standards of health & safety and site documentation

• Maintain strong communication with the client, project team, and supply chain

• Ensure quality control throughout the build

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on steel frame projects

• Strong understanding of groundworks

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid

• Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills

• Ability to manage programme deadlines and site safety effectively
