ABOUT THE ROLE
I am recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school for a Teacher of Mathematics to join the team on a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated students in a supportive and forward-looking environment.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As Teacher of Maths, you will:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students' academic progress and pastoral development
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
- Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively as part of an established Maths team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- QTS (or equivalent) with a relevant degree
- Strong teaching practice or experience within secondary education
- Good knowledge of the KS3/KS4 Maths curriculum
- High expectations, strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students
- Effective organisation and the ability to work well within a team
