About the role

Vision for Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Thurrock.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated TA to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals to provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health) needs.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • Have experience working with pupils with SEN in a school or specialist setting.

  • Be patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Be committed to helping every child succeed both academically and emotionally.
