A thriving school in the Great Dunmow area is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. As an LSA, you will play a key role in helping students with a variety of learning needs and help to develop the skills they need for success in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons to ensure that students can fully engage and participate in classroom activities.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support students with their academic work, including reading, writing, and organizing tasks. .
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment for everyone.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to tailor learning approaches to suit individual student needs.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff regarding academic and behavioural development.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Promote student confidence, self-esteem, and social skills, fostering a positive relationship with all students.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Inspire the students to reach their full potential.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a learning support role.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A passion for supporting secondary school students and helping them overcome academic challenges.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The ability to adapt to different learning styles and support students with a range of abilities.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to assisting students.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Relevant experience working with children that have Special Educational needs.
-       GCSE’s at a grade C (pass) or above.
