A rare opportunity to work on some of the world's finest motor vehicles.

An established and highly respected heritage vehicle specialist in the Great Dunmow area is looking to expand its coachwork team with a skilled Body & Paint Technician. This is not your average body shop role - you'll be working on classic and prestige marques where craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail are essential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Shaping, repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork to concours-standard finish
  • Interiors & exteriors
  • Preparing and painting panels using 2-pack and acrylic paint systems
  • Refinishing classic bodywork to match original specifications and finishes
  • Managing your own restoration projects from prep to final polish
  • Working independently in a clean, well-equipped coachbuilding workshop
  • Maintaining a tidy work area and contributing to high-quality team output

What you'll need:

  • A proven background in vehicle shaping and painting - ideally on classic, vintage or heritage vehicles
  • Strong knowledge of 2K and acrylic systems
  • The ability to work independently to tight deadlines and exacting standards
  • A genuine interest in craftsmanship and pride in producing show-level results
