A welding and fabrication company in the Chelmsford area are looking for an experienced welder to join their team.
This role will require you to be able to MIG weld, have your own hand tools and have previous experience in the fabrication of Architectural and Structural steelwork.
Skills needed:
- Be able to read fabrication drawings
- Experienced at MIG welding
- Counterbalance forklift license is beneficial, but training can be given
- Telehandler license is beneficial, but training can be given
- Overhead crane license is beneficial, but training can be given
The salary is between 12.00 - 16.00 per hour based on experience and the hours of work are 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday.
There is overtime available which is paid at x1.5.
You must have a Full UK driving license with your own transport due to the location of the company.
This is a permanent role subject to you passing a three-month probation period. There will be a weld rest at the interview stage.
