Job Description

Electrical Engineer

The Company

A leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke machinery and supporting systems.

The Role

This hands-on role focuses on complete machine wiring, functional testing, and assistance with general electrical works around the site. The position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of electrical systems and a practical, solutions-based mindset.

The work will include the following:

Wire and connect complete electrical systems across machinery, including sensors, motors, actuators, and interconnects

Carry out functional testing, I/O checks, and basic fault-finding prior to commissioning phase

Assist in verifying signal paths and validating safe operation before software upload or HMI integration

Read and work from electrical schematics, layout drawings

Support electrical installation tasks around the factory, including lighting circuits, distribution boards, and equipment upgrades

Assist in new machinery installations and electrical improvement projects within production areas

Collaborate with other departments during machine build, including routing, alignment, and system integration activities

The Candidate

1. Solid background in machine wiring or industrial electrical assembly

2. Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring documentation

3. Confident in identifying and resolving electrical faults during build and test
