About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and qualified Health and Safety Advisor to join our clients team, supporting projects across the UK. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to various project sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
路 Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
路 Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on all health and safety matters.
路 Develop and implement risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans.
路 Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
路 Deliver training and toolbox talks to site staff and contractors.
路 Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company and legal requirements.
路 Liaise with external bodies such as the HSE when required.
Requirements
路 NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) - essential.
路 Additional relevant health and safety qualifications - desirable.
路 Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within construction or project-based environments.
路 Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
路 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
路 Full UK driving licence - essential.
