We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to join our client in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong Electrical and Mechanical expertise to support both preventative and reactive maintenance of production equipment.

Working hours: Nightshit  6pm-6am 3 on 4 off. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance in line with the planned maintenance schedule
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on complex electronic and mechanical systems
  • Communicate effectively with external suppliers and service providers
  • Source and control spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available when needed
  • Prioritise and manage workload efficiently to minimise equipment downtime
  • Support general maintenance tasks across the site as needed

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in equipment maintenance within a high-speed or manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in electronics with at least 3 years’ experience in both mechanical and electrical systems
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification (desirable)
  • Proficient in diagnosing faults in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with stock control systems and spare parts management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and bring tasks to successful completion
