Vision for Education is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Tewkesbury on a full-time basis.
The role
- A well-established SEN School seeks a passionate, dedicated, and attentive Teaching Assistant.
- The school is looking for a teaching assistant to assist with the general day-to-day running of the classroom.
- As a vital part of the school’s staff, teaching assistants are part of a tutor group team to support pupils across the curriculum.
- Delivering support to children aged 7 to 19 on a one-to-one and small-group basis, building lasting relationships.
- Being able to adapt to new situations quickly and professionally in an everchanging environment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Be flexible.
- Willing to travel to various locations in Bristol.
- Friendly and nurturing qualities.
- Competent behaviour management skills.
- Team Teach or Positive Handling would be preferable.
- Have a patient and caring nature.
- Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Willing to complete CPD training.

Salary
£88.92 to £91 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
