Salary: 25,000- 26,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Cable Moulding Technician to join our team in Great Yarmouth. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in producing high-quality cables and connectors, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and precision.

What You'll Do

  • Wiring, termination, and moulding of cables and connectors to a high standard in a fast-paced environment
  • Interpret wiring diagrams with excellent attention to detail
  • Use electrical test equipment correctly and safely
  • Prepare materials and parts for cable manufacturing following company procedures
  • Inspect cables and generate reports to company standards
  • Expand your knowledge of cable and connector types and processes
  • Consistently promote and observe safe working practices
  • Support the wider production team as required

What We're Looking For

  • A Levels (or equivalent) in Maths, Science, or Technology
  • Previous soldering/cable moulding experience (preferred)
  • Strong technical interest in engineering principles, techniques, and practices
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams confidently
  • Exceptional attention to detail and objective decision-making skills
  • A positive "can do" attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high standards and exceeding customer expectations
