This is a hands-on, practical role within a close-knit team. You'll be required to work weekends and some evenings during the busier summer months, shifting to Monday-Friday day shifts during the quieter winter period. This role would suit an Electrical Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with a recognised electrical qualification, who wants to develop further in fault finding, control systems, and complex machinery.
THE ROLE
- Electrical installation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis
- Servicing and repairing electromechanical systems
- Training on PLCs and control systems provided
- Summer: includes weekend/evening shifts | Winter: Mon-Fri day shifts
THE PERSON
- Electrical Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
- Holds a recognised electrical qualification
- PLC knowledge is a bonus but not essential - full training provided
- 18th Edition (BS 7671) desirable
- Experience with PAT testing, AC/DC drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred
