Reed is proud to be working with an established leader within the environmental and industrial services sector, and they are seeking a highly capable Office Manager to join their team in Great Yarmouth. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, requiring a confident and experienced individual with strong leadership qualities, a solid foundation in accounting support, and excellent operational oversight.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all daily office functions, ensuring administrative processes run efficiently and effectively.
  • Create and manage Excel spreadsheets to track and analyse business data.
  • Supervise staff and support team development by promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure accurate document control and compliance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate internal communication and liaise with external suppliers or partners.
  • Assist with audit preparation and maintain internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Confidently work with internal systems and demonstrate the ability to learn.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Office Management, operations, or senior administration roles.
  • Exposure in finance or accounting support (e.g invoicing, reconciliations, spreadsheets)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, confident using databases and learning new systems.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable in fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within an operational, industrial or environmental services setting is an advantage.
  • A mind-set for continuous improvement, efficiency, and pro-active problem-solving.
