Materials Inspector
Our client, a successful and dynamic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Materials Inspector to join their team join their QC department.
This is a full time, permanent position, working in Great Yarmouth on the below hours.
Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C (9-4) including Maths & English
- Preferably, experience of working in a QC environment, handling chemicals, sampling, testing of chemicals and packaging.
- Preferably, experience of microbiological sampling
- Candidates with higher level qualifications will also be considered ie A Levels, BTec, or experience preferably in a suitable scientific/technical discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proficient in computer packages, including MS Word & Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Emotionally resilient with the ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude.
Key Duties:
- The role will encompass Material Inspection of both raw materials and packaging.
- Additionally, the role will include purchasing of lab consumables and support of microbiological sampling across site.
