Toolmaker/Machinist Great Yarmouth Up to 16 per hour (based on experience)

Duties, Experience & Skills

Full working knowledge and experience in the use of manual machines, including the use of Milling Machines, Centre Lathes, Surface Grinders, and Cylindrical Grinders. Experience in electrical discharge machining (EDM) would be an advantage, although training can be provided.

Good knowledge of using inspection equipment and reading and understanding the engineering drawings.

Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and procedures

Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude at all times

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Up to 16 per hour (salary subject to experience)

39-hour week

Normal hours of work are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm Friday however flexibility is offered between the hours of 6.30am and 5 p.m.

When overtime is available, it is usually paid at time and a half.
