Brand new role – Nacelle Supervisor

• Role: Nacelle Supervisor
• Hours per week/day: 12hrs Shifts, 14 Days on 14 Days off (Nights/Days)
• Location: Hartlepool Onshore Pre-Assembly Site (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation)
• Contract: (3-6 Months initial contract with view to extend to 12 months)
• Rate: Day rate outside IR35

The Nacelle Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all mechanical and electrical (M&E) work related to nacelle components at an onshore pre-assembly site. The goal is to ensure everything is assembled safely, correctly, and on schedule, ready for eventual offshore installation.

Core Responsibilities (What they’ll be doing day-to-day):
1. Supervision:
o Oversee daily M&E work on nacelles (gearbox, generator, brakes, etc.).
o Lead technicians and coordinate subcontractors on-site.
2. HSE & Compliance:
o Enforce Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) regulations.
o Ensure work complies with site standards and safety protocols.
3. Coordination & Logistics:
o Liaise with logistics teams to manage parts and materials flow.
o Keep workflow efficient and avoid delays.
4. Quality Control:
o Perform inspections and quality checks on components and assembly.
o Make sure everything meets project requirements/specs.
5. Reporting & Support:
o Support planning/scheduling and report to the Completions Manager.
o Keep logs of work done, inspections, and any incidents.
6. Problem-Solving:
o Resolve any technical or logistical issues during assembly.

Qualifications & Experience (Who should apply):
• Experience:
o Supervisory experience in M&E assembly (ideally wind turbines or heavy industry).
o Familiarity with pre-assembly environments (e.g. turbine yards, ports).
• Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of HSE in energy/construction.
o Ability to manage rotational work patterns and lead small teams.
• Soft Skills:
o Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
o Able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
