We're currently looking for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a busy warehouse environment.Hours: Monday to Friday, am to 4:30pm (30 minutes unpaid break)Pay Rate: £12.60 per hourLocation: Greenford, LondonKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Picking Orders: Accurately pick products from the warehouse based on customer orders, ensuring the right items, quantities, and quality.- Shipping Preparation: Prepare packages for shipping, including labelling, sorting, and coordinating appropriate paperwork.- Receiving and sorting: Assist the team with safely taking delivery of restocks and supplies, checking carefully for damaged or missing items.- Daily Area Management: Assist with storing products appropriately in the correct locations, and keep your areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency- Distribution Preparation: Assist the team with counting and preparing stock for transfer to our retail locations including packing, labelling and loading.- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and storing incoming shipments of beauty products, ensuring accuracy in inventory records.- Quality Control: Work closely with the team leader to inspect incoming and outgoing products, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring proper maintenance and reporting any issues.- Documentation: Keep accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and any incidents or issues within the warehouse.- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.- Team Collaboration & Flexibility: As part of a small and dynamic team, there will be opportunities to assist with activities outside of core responsibilities, such as helping with store openings, supporting team events, or assisting with ad-hoc projects. While these tasks are optional, we really value a collaborative spirit and the willingness to step in and support each other when needed.- Local Delivery Support: If you hold a valid UK driver's licence, there may be times you are required to assist our delivery team with the transferring of items to nearby London stores.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes as needed.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.- Prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry is a plus.- Love to work as part of a close-knit team.- Strong passion and existing knowledge of the Korean beauty industry.- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
