Our client is looking for a Demand Planner to join their thriving business !

Factory based: Greenford

Working Hours: fully on-site, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Salary: £33k DOE

A unique opportunity to join a leading global agri-food business who partners with some of the more exciting UK grocery brands. Through continuous drive for efficiency, excellence and sustainability an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fast-moving perishables goods company.

As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for driving the organisational demand plans while aligning with potential sales and evaluating external factors influencing demand. You will analyse sales and supply data along with market trends to forecast future product needs accurately. This role requires collaboration with commercial teams to develop precise forecasts and continuous improvement in forecasting metrics to optimise inventory levels and production planning. You will also create essential metrics and dashboards to support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), communicating vital insights across teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Demand Planner requirements:

Qualifications:

  1. Educated to degree level in a Supply Chain or other relevant discipline
  2. Highly proficient with IT systems and thorough understanding of advanced data analytics tools including SQL, python, Power Query and Power BI

Work Experience:

  1. Analytical capabilities
  2. Strong business discernment and judgment
  3. Ability to influence decisions by working across different organizational functions.
  4. Proven track record of working in supply chain area in fast paced environment.
  5. Attention to detail and natural curiosity and capability in understanding industry updates and market trends
  6. Have a strong knowledge of forecasting methods and formulas
  7. Expert skills in Excel for planning, modelling and scenario planning
  8. Clear communication, influencing and relationship management skills across cross functional teams
  9. Have a strong work ethic, numerate, analytical, pragmatic with a results driven and logical approach.
  10. A good commercial acumen and enjoy coordinating projects/driving change.
  11. Resilient, responds well to pressure and manages emotions.
