About the Role-
Teach general science across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics depending on expertise

Monitor student progress through regular assessment and provide constructive feedback

Maintain a safe, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment

Participate in departmental planning and contribute to curriculum development

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Science at secondary level

Strong subject knowledge in at least one core science discipline

Effective classroom management skills

Commitment to student progress and inclusive teaching practices
Desirable:

Familiarity with GCSE exam specifications (e.g., AQA, Edexcel)
