This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with a passion for teaching science across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Teach general science across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics depending on expertise

• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that promote scientific inquiry and critical thinking

• Monitor student progress through regular assessment and provide constructive feedback

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment

• Participate in departmental planning and contribute to curriculum development

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and raise achievement

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Science at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge in at least one core science discipline

• Effective classroom management skills

• Commitment to student progress and inclusive teaching practices

Desirable:

• Familiarity with GCSE exam specifications (e.g., AQA, Edexcel)

• Experience delivering triple science content

• Involvement in extracurricular STEM activities or science clubs
