Sales Executive – Scotland As a Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in converting enquiries into successful orders while managing the entire sales process all the way from initial contact to final dispatch. Your work ensures smooth communication between customers and suppliers, accurate documentation, and timely follow-up, all while delivering excellent service within the maritime sector. This is not just a desk-based role. With a strong foundation in sales administration and customer engagement, this position is designed to grow into a business development function. Over time, you’ll take on more responsibility in proactively visiting clients, building long-term relationships, and identifying new opportunities to grow the business. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage quotations, orders, dispatch, and sales administration
  • Communicate confidently with maritime customers and suppliers, handling technical discussions
  • Grow into a business development role through client visits and opportunity generation
We’re looking for someone with a solid maritime understanding who can confidently engage in technical discussions with superintendents, purchasing officers, and other maritime professionals. Your ability to understand the operational and technical language of the industry will set you apart. Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Maritime education or background.
  • Technically fluent, commercially aware, and confident dealing with maritime professionals.
