Subcontractor Ledger Assistant | Nr Bamber Bridge | Permanent

Up to £28,000 per annum DOE

Monday to Friday

KPI Recruiting are currently working with a well-established, reputable business who are looking for a Subcontractor Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has previous experience working in a finance / accounts capacity within the construction industry.

You will be:

  • Keeping subcontractor information up-to-date, including bank details, CIS status, and other relevant data

  •  

    Verifying, processing, and posting subcontractor invoices accurately and timely

  •  

    Preparing and processing payments to subcontractors according to agreed terms

  •  

    Regularly reconciling subcontractor accounts and resolving any discrepancies

  •  

    Ensuring compliance with HMRC CIS regulations, processing CIS returns and deducting the appropriate tax

  •  

    Communicating with subcontractors and other relevant parties to address queries and resolve issues

  •  

    Assisting with month-end processes, reporting, and ad-hoc duties within the wider finance team

You will have:

  • Experience working within a similar role within the construction industry
  • Working knowledge of Evision / COINS software
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to financial tasks
  • Confident problem-solver with a proactive attitude
  • A reliable team player with excellent communication skills
