Salary: £48,000
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday
Our reputable Manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit for an Operations Manager to join their business, the role will play an integral position for the company, heading up the site and key Leadership for the business.
Main Responsibilities of the Operations Manager
- Responsible for the management of all operational areas including Production, Maintenance and Shift Managers.
- Accountable for legal / corporate compliance across the operational team and their disciplines- HSE etc.
- Responsible for the production forecasting and analysis for all operations functions in formats for reporting at all levels within the organisation.
- Develop operational plans and timelines to deliver the business needs. Including facilities, human resources, physical assets and supply chain.
- Identify and implement improvement within the operational team
- Identify and implement site improvement
- Develop key members of the team (shift managers/planning and production support)
Experience and Skills required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Operations management role
• NVQ level 4 or equivalent in management / business
- The Ability to lead and Manage a team
- Commercial Mindset
- Strategic thinker
