Job Description:

We are now seeking an experienced Delivery Operative to join our busy warehouse and delivery team within a well-established, premium home interiors and flooring business based in Grimsby.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in deliveries, removals, or a similar role, who is looking to work within a professional, supportive, and customer-focused environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Personable, with excellent people skills and a friendly approach
  • Punctual and well-presented, taking pride in representing the business professionally
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail and time management
  • A good communicator, able to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Experienced in delivery, removals, or a similar hands-on role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving a Luton transit van on scheduled delivery routes
  • Safely unloading and positioning furniture at customers’ premises (homes or offices)
  • Assembling furniture as required to a high standard
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach on every delivery
  • Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure safety and reliability
  • Reporting delivery feedback and any issues requiring follow-up
  • Supporting the warehouse team with general duties as needed
