Engineering Team Leader

We're looking for an Engineering Team Leader to take charge of a small team on the night shift at a well-established manufacturing site. You’ll be the point of contact for all things engineering overnight – giving the team direction, keeping standards high, and ensuring smooth handovers to day shift with clear updates on performance, issues, and progress.

• Leading a small team of engineers through night shifts

• Taking ownership of engineering activity overnight and ensuring continuity with day teams

• Driving continuous improvement and identifying ways to work smarter, not harder

• Getting involved in site projects, installations and upgrades

• Keeping a cool head and setting the tone – focused, proactive, and solution-led

• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory engineering role

• Background in FMCG, food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment

• Strong communicator – able to give visibility across shifts and keep people informed

• A genuine interest in improving processes, not just maintaining the status quo

• Comfortable working permanent nights
