Description

  • Conduct routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems and machinery.

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with schedules.

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control panels, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.

  • Support mechanical repairs and maintenance when required.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job reports.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis (RCA).

Profile

  • Recognised electrical engineering qualification

  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

  • Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical systems and automation.

  • Knowledge of PLCs, inverters, and motor control systems (advantageous).

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to support cross-skilled work.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
