About the Role:
My client is a specialist construction company delivering high-profile projects across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of live sites, with a strong preference for those with experience in white walling, composite panels/ cladding systems.
This role requires regular UK travel and overnight stays (typically MonWed), with Fridays based in their modern Grimsby office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all site activities to meet programme and quality targets
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, plant, and logistics
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and site documentation standards
- Liaise with clients, Contracts Manager, and QS team on progress, variations, and costs
- Monitor material deliveries, labour requirements, and site efficiencies
- Deliver successful snagging, handovers, and completion processes
What Were Looking For:
- 3+ years' experience in a Site Manager role within construction
- Experience in white walling, composite panels, or cladding is highly advantageous
- SMSTS (or willing to obtain), full UK driving licence
- ISO9001
- Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills
- IT proficient (MS Office essential)
- Strong knowledge of H&S and construction best practices
