Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Ramp Inspector to join our client’s professional workshop team. You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical inspections on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Visually checking keys, tyres, wipers, interior and exterior lights
  • Completing under bonnet visual checks
  • Engine noises including excessive noise or rattling
  • Underbody inspections, including brakes and suspension components
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales
  • Diagnostic checks, function testing all onboard equipment
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualification and Experience:

  • IMI / NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Automotive / Vehicle Repair (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
  • Full UK / EU driving licence.
