Tradewind Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Design Technology Teacher to work in a long-term role in a Secondary School in Grimsby. The role starts in September and expects to last until at least Easter.
The position involves the following:
- Demonstrate a good understanding of KS3 & KS4 Design Technology and be able to teach it in an engaging manner to students.
- Deliver theory lessons to small groups of pupils.
- Maintain an organised and professional classroom.
- Assess students and monitor progress of students.
- Uphold high expectations and follow Safeguarding policies.
During your placement, Tradewind Recruitment will support you with CPD training, a consultant that offers opportunities, and competitive rates.
To apply for this role, you must have the following:
- A strong knowledge of DT
- Experience working in a secondary school.
- Child-only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to undertake one).
- Satisfactory References
- Right to work in the UK.
This role has the potential to be paid to scale which is a range between £162.31 - £223.62.
