About the Role:As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that spark curiosity about the world. You will guide students through topics such as physical geography, human geography, and environmental issues, helping them develop critical thinking and analytical skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
- Tracking and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Encouraging students to engage with contemporary global issues and environmental challenges
- Supporting student development and encouraging academic success
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Geography or a related field
- A teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching geography at KS3, KS4, or A-Level (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students
- A genuine passion for geography and education
