Motor Winder
Salary: Basic up to £34,600 plus Benefits
Location: Grimsby, North Lincolnshire
A leading industrial service provider is currently looking for a Motor Winder to join their team in the Grimsby area. Working Monday – Friday with lots of overtime available, the Motor Winder will be responsible for Testing AC/DC Motors, correct use of burnout techniques, detailing of AC/DC motor windings Rewinding of same, connection and testing of windings as well as impregnation and stoving methods. Skills required for a Motor Winder:
- Must have formal training or qualification within a motor environment would be advantageous, qualifications at level 2 or 3 in mechanical or electrical disciplines can be considered.
- With experience of both AC and DC winding, although just AC would also be considered advantageous.
- Skillset in mechanical fitting or with electrical knowledge of motors and willing to train to specialise can be considered.
- You will be confident in carrying out fitting task as well as winding (with training if applicable to winding skillset).
- A full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous.
- Work well within a team or on a individual basis.
