We're working with a growing technology consultancy that designs and manufactures advanced signal processing hardware, firmware, and software. They're now looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator to join their close-knit team in Guildford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years' administrative experience who's looking for a varied and hands-on role with real development potential. You'll gain exposure to all aspects of office management and play a key part in keeping the business running smoothly day to day.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the Office Manager and wider team, your responsibilities will include:

  • General administrative duties across the business
  • Preparing and processing documentation, including invoices and purchasing system updates
  • Handling telephone enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Meeting and greeting visitors, managing sign-in procedures
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and parcels
  • Ordering kitchen stock, office supplies and arranging on-site catering as needed
  • Stock and asset management (with IT team support), including labelling and data entry
  • Documenting internal processes and procedures
  • Providing ad hoc support across various departments

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or support role
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and good numeracy skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative
  • Friendly, approachable and adaptable
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Able to obtain UK Government security clearance
