As a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer, you will be central to the delivery of multidisciplinary water projects from design through construction, commissioning, and handover. What you'll be doing
聽
路Supporting the Project Manager in the delivery of water and wastewater schemes across the Thames region.
路Managing design coordination, challenging solutions, and identifying opportunities for innovation and value engineering.
路Developing, managing, and updating construction programmes to ensure key milestones are achieved.
路Arranging, chairing, and contributing to collaborative planning and design liaison meetings.
路Preparing and issuing invitations to tender, evaluating returns, and producing cost-benefit analyses with recommendations.
路Coordinating engineering input between designers, supply chain partners, and site teams.
路Managing day-to-day site activities and resolving or escalating delivery issues as required.
路Reviewing contractor and supplier invoices, identifying discrepancies prior to approval.
路Maintaining and managing project risk registers, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting early warnings.
路Working closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to develop cost plans, manage commitments, and monitor project outturn costs.
路Supporting procurement activities and preparing requisitions for buyers.
路Ensuring Health & Safety compliance in line with CDM 2015, company standards, and best practice.
路Preparing pre-start packs and managing project documentation and governance systems.
路Supporting commissioning activities and project handover processes.
路Attending Health & Safety, progress, coordination, and stakeholder meetings as required.

Experience
路Project management experience within an engineering or construction environment.
路Experience delivering engineering projects under NEC3 forms of contract.
路Background in water, wastewater, or regulated utility projects (non-infrastructure experience advantageous).
路Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and supply chain partners.
路Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM 2015.
路Proven ability to manage programmes, costs, risks, and delivery targets.
Qualifications
路Degree (or equivalent) in a construction or engineering-related discipline.
路Chartered or working toward chartership with a recognised professional body (desirable).
路APMP or equivalent qualification (advantageous).
路Experience using Primavera P6 (desirable).
