The role & about the client:

ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a reputable residential construction company for an experienced Site Foreman. This company undertakes all aspects of construction, general building, and project management for home renovation projects – from full refurbishments and property extensions to bespoke new build homes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, proactive Foreman to join a passionate team delivering high-quality residential projects across the region. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations on site, coordinating trades, managing materials, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all on-site construction activities

• Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

• Managing project schedules and resource allocation

• Maintaining site records and reporting progress to the project manager

• Quality assurance and snagging oversight

• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders

• Problem-solving and decision-making on site

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Proven experience as a Site Foreman on residential projects

• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills

• Ability to interpret drawings and manage day-to-day site logistics

• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

• First Aid trained (desirable)

• Full UK driving licence

• A proactive approach with attention to detail and quality
