Job Title: Learning and Development Lead(L&D, E-Learning, Organisational Capability, and Instructional Design)Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Bonus. Location: Guilford, Greater London.Hybrid: 2 days per week in office and 3 days WFH.  JGA are partnering with a leading food and beverage retail business seeking an employee focussed and culture driven, Learning and Development Leader to contribute to P&C strategy, shaping and implementing initiatives that attract and retain top talent, aiding the constant development of their employees.   If you have experience in a multi-sited, customer facing, retail, hospitality or restaurant business (or comparable) then we would love to see an application from you!   • Build strong relationships across restaurant teams (both company and franchise) and global stakeholders.
  • Define L&D priorities that meet today’s needs and set us up for future success.
  • Design and deliver engaging, practical training that drives capability and performance in restaurants.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop leadership and coaching effectiveness.
  • Identify and close skill gaps, both current and future, through insight-driven solutions.
  • Track, measure and evolve the effectiveness of our learning offer.
  • Manage our learning platforms and tech—ensuring content is up to date, accessible, and impactful.
  • Collaborate with experts to keep our programmes fresh, relevant, and aligned to business needs.
  • Own and shape the global leadership development curriculum.
  • Manage third-party suppliers and budgets to get the best out of our tools and partnerships.
  • Support wider People & Culture initiatives where needed.
What we're looking for:

  • Experience leading L&D or people development programmes, ideally in a customer-facing environment.
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills—able to juggle and prioritise with ease.
  • Confidence in using data and insights to guide decisions and measure success.
  • A future-focused mindset—curious about what’s next and comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • Experience working with LMS platforms and digital learning tools is a bonus (e.g., Articulate, Vyond, Camtasia, Edapp).
