We’re on the lookout for an experienced and energetic Event Manager to join a creative events agency. Reporting to the Head of Events, the Event Manager will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and flawless delivery of live events and activations. From creative ideation to on-site execution, the Event Manager will be instrumental in ensuring every project runs smoothly, safely, and leaves a lasting impression.

This is a hands-on role for someone with production knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a calm, solutions-first mindset, perfect for someone looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced creative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Pre-Event Planning & Coordination

  • Own the full event lifecycle: planning, budgeting, logistics and supplier management
  • Create event schedules, critical paths, briefs, and on-site documentation
  • Attend client meetings and site visits (in person or virtually)
  • Source, negotiate, and liaise with suppliers, venues, and freelance crew
  • Support with internal processes: ordering, stock coordination, courier bookings
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and all documentation is in place (RAMS, insurance, PPE etc.)

Team & Client Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams across production, creative, design and sales
  • Support the Head of Events with client communications and project updates
  • Ensure all stakeholders remain aligned, informed, and confident in delivery
  • Brief and manage internal and freelance teams across all project stages

On-Site Delivery

  • Oversee all logistical elements: transport, load-ins, van hire, set builds
  • Lead on-site teams during set-up, live and derig phases
  • Act as a key liaison with venues, vendors, crew and clients
  • Resolve issues quickly, ensuring the highest standards of execution and client service
  • Manage the event breakdown and reloading, ensuring stock is packed and tracked

Post-Event

  • Support with debriefs, feedback gathering and evaluations
  • Assist with reconciliation and budget wrap-up
  • Identify improvements and input into process refinement

Who You Are:

  • Several years experience in a similar event management or production role
  • Highly organised with strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • A confident communicator with great attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders
  • Able to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas as required
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Asana or similar digital project management tools
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and passionate about delivering exceptional live experiences
