We are seeking a warm, professional, and highly organised School Secretary to join a team and provide a welcoming front-of-house service. This is a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering excellent support to staff, pupils, and visitors.

About the Role


As the first point of contact for the school, you will:

  • Greet and assist visitors, parents, and pupils
  • Manage incoming calls and emails
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintain pupil attendance records
  • Administer first aid and manage medical supplies
  • Support school events, trips, and facility bookings

You'll be part of a busy office team, working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Flexibility, discretion, and a proactive attitude are essential.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in office administration
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office
  • A calm, professional manner and attention to detail
  • A genuine interest in working with children and young people
  • A Paediatric First Aid qualification and experience in a school setting are desirable but not essential
