£80k | Guildford (Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days WFH) | Full-Time | Permanent
Are you a strategic finance professional with a passion for operational excellence? We’re recruiting for a Finance Manager – Group Operations to join a fast-paced, global organisation headquartered in Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity to take a hands-on leadership role overseeing key financial operations including billing, accounts payable, and credit control across multiple international regions.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Group Financial Operations Controller and senior leadership to drive efficiency, enhance financial processes, and deliver accurate reporting that supports critical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support a team across billing, AP, and credit control
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Oversee performance reviews, team meetings, and regular reporting
Financial Operations
- Oversee day-to-day financial processing and ensure accuracy across ledgers
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and external regulations
- Support preparation and delivery of management reports and financial metrics
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations
- Produce reports and insights for senior leadership across global regions
- Contribute to group-wide projects including system development and operational alignment
Risk & Compliance
- Identify and mitigate financial risks
- Ensure ledgers are accurately reconciled and up to date
- Liaise with internal/external auditors and uphold ISO and GDPR compliance standards
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong experience in a finance operations or transactional finance leadership role
- Background in managing accounts payable, billing, credit control, and reconciliations
- Excellent Excel skills; experience with accounting systems (Sage X3 a bonus)
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Adaptability and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Experience working with multiple currencies and international teams
- Knowledge of accounting standards and reporting best practices
