Marketing Operations Manager
Location: Guildford - Hybrid Working is available but you will need to be able to commute to Guildford meaning you need to live within 30 minutes of Guildford.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm)
Team: Marketing (a small but highly effective team of three)
Hours: 40 hours per week

My client is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager with experience working with in the Automotive Sector to take the lead on exciting, high-impact marketing initiatives that strengthen the brand and engage customers across key touchpoints. This is an opportunity to shape meaningful campaigns and play a pivotal role in the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, from concept through to execution and analysis.
- Act as the central point of coordination for marketing activity across Sales, Aftersales, and wider departments.
- Manage and deliver brand-enhancing sponsorships, partnerships, and events.
- Execute campaigns across digital, print, events, and through external agency collaboration.
- Use market insight and competitor analysis to drive innovation and keep ahead of trends.
- Manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure strong return on investment.
- Maintain alignment with brand standards and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to deliver impactful work across the wider business.

What We’re Looking For
- A hands-on, results-driven marketer with at least 3 years of experience in B2C and/or B2B marketing.
- Previous motor trade experience is essential – ideally within a franchised dealer group or automotive retail environment.
- Confident in campaign delivery across multiple channels, including digital, events, and partnerships.
- Skilled in using marketing tools such as Dotdigital (or equivalent), CMS platforms, and analytics software.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- A creative thinker who approaches problems with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate and engage across departments and with suppliers.
- CIM qualification (or currently studying) is an advantage, but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence required for occasional travel.
