Client Base: High Net Worth (HNW) & Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW)
A long-established, highly reputable wealth planning practice just outside Guildford is looking to hire a Financial Planning Administrator to support their continued growth. With over 30 years in the industry, they serve a loyal client base that includes City professionals, families, retirees, and business owners - typically with £500k+ in investable assets, and some clients exceeding £3m.
I've personally visited the firm, met with the Directors, and placed multiple staff here - seven to date - and can confidently say it’s a fantastic, professional, and supportive working environment.
About the Role:You’ll play a key part in the client servicing and administration function, supporting both advisers and paraplanners. This is a varied, hands-on role with a clear route to paraplanning for those who are studying or aspiring to progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and issue letters of authority and obtain valuations.
- Liaise with clients and product providers over the phone and email.
- Schedule client review meetings and prepare all supporting documentation.
- Collect and analyse financial data from providers.
- Submit and track new business applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date client records, agreements, and signed documentation.
- Ensure processes are followed and documentation is stored appropriately.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in a financial planning or wealth management environment.
- Broad knowledge of pensions, investments, protection products, etc.
- Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Transact, Elevate, Quilter, and Aberdeen is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow.
