Job Opportunity: Handy Person - General MaintenanceLocation: GuildfordJob Type: Full-TimeSalary: £150 - £200 Start Date: "ASAP"We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handy Person to join our maintenance team. This role involves carrying out general maintenance tasks and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across our facilities.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance duties (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, painting, minor electrical work)
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance or handy person role
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Ability to provide 5 years of verifiable work references
- No criminal record (DBS check will be required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Desirable:
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
- Experience working in commercial or residential property maintenance
