Our client is seeking to expand their commercial function with the addition of a motivated Client Relationship Manager.

In this role, you will take ownership of key client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to overall sales growth. Collaborating with internal teams across operations, technical support, and supply coordination, you will ensure a smooth and responsive customer experience.

  • £28,000 - £35,000 salary (DOE)
  • Based in Guildford
  • Hybrid (2 days WFH)
  • Monday – Friday

Job Description:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target sectors
  • Prepare and deliver quotations, negotiate contracts and close sales
  • Provide technical advice and product recommendations based on customer requirements
  • Monitor market conditions, customer trends and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure customer specifications are met
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth
  • Attend industry exhibitions and customer meetings

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in sales/account management is essential
  • Must be a car driver due to office location
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organised
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites in Europe and industry events occasionally
