Procurement and Administration Role - Near Guildford

Clarity (CT Recruitment) are working with this client based on the outskirts of Guildford, their office is the core for their business activities, from sales, quotes, invoicing, shipments and customer service.

We are hiring a Procurement manager (suppliers) who will also provide administrative support to the sales team as required.

Managing suppliers is a key requirement for this successful business ensuring they meet NHS Supply Chain SLA’s.

The role would require you to coordinate all supplier activities across our business and manage them back through the supply chain. Hold regular supplier meetings, ensure suppliers meet trading requirements, managing supplier T&Cs, support tender submissions, working on volume pricing and risk mitigation.

In addition, you would be required to provide support for sales orders and logistics as needed.

You will be experienced with the above and be keen to learn and pick up skills, with drive and enthusiasm and demonstrate a desire for change.

This is a superb opportunity for someone to develop within a growing and successful company, developing this brand new procurement role, whilst providing support to all areas of the business.

Duties:

  • Manage our international and regional suppliers
  • Ensure suppliers conform to business standards for operation within the UK
  • Manage operational supplier meetings
  • Coordinate supplier management between our stock ordering & warehouse logistics.
  • Support new tenders and existing tenders
  • Administration support
  • Sales Quotes and Orders

Skills required:

  • Skills in Microsoft office products, Word, Excel, Outlook etc
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Sales Order Processing (SOP)
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to deal customers and our suppliers both written and verbal.
  • Natural Problem solver and Strong negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, keen to learn, with a can-do attitude.
  • Car Driver - due to location.

Mon-Fri 08:30 to 5PM

25 days holiday
