The Chassis Systems Engineer position is a 6-month contract based in Guildford with a hybrid work model.
The salary for this role ranges from £45 to £50 per hour and is outside IR35.
Candidates should have experience in chassis and powertrain, with a strong understanding of chassis kinematics and suspension.
The role requires proficiency in designing moving assemblies while considering load paths, stress, fatigue, and safety-critical factors.
Backgrounds in automotive, aerospace, motorsport, or machine design are all considered for this position.

About the role

You’ll be embedded in a fast-moving team, contributing to the design and development of chassis system. Projects will be varied and looking for engineers with Chassis & Powertrain experience

Key Responsibilities

Strong understanding of chassis kinematics & suspension
Ability to design moving assemblies and consider load paths, stress, fatigue, and safety-critical factors.
Experience with CAD and solid modelling.
Backgrounds in automotive, aerospace, motorsport, or machine design all considered.
