Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Guildford
Duration: 6 months initially
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: 16.51 PAYE
Role Overview:
This position involves the skilled execution of structured evaluation procedures to support the delivery of technical solutions. The successful candidate will possess a solid background built through formal training and substantial hands-on experience.
The role may require additional working hours during critical operational periods to ensure project and delivery commitments are met.
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostics and evaluation throughout the production lifecycle.
Assist with inspection processes during electronic component assembly.
Operate standard testing instruments such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and waveform generators.
Identify and resolve issues within electronic assemblies down to the component level.
Engage actively in continuous improvement efforts aligned with quality management standards (e.g., ISO9001).
Candidate Profile:
Formal qualifications in electronics or a related technical field (ONC, HNC, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of electronic assembly standards (e.g., IPC)
Previous experience in high-tech or regulated production environments preferred
