One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experiencedPerformance Improvement & Insight Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.

Overview:

  • This role is part of a newly created Business Insight and Improvement Team within housing and is about developing services from the customer perspective, monitoring the performance across housing and delivering a performance management framework for the service.
  • Specifically, the post holder will work to design and deliver the services performance management framework ensuring it effectively promotes improvement, informs decision making and has a robust regime for targets and their reporting.
  • Developing, reporting and monitoring of performance and insight data and systems ensuring robust information is available to support business and service decisions.
  • The role will support the development of policies and procedures and will support colleagues in our approach to complaints and resolution.

Responsibilties:

  • To deliver a specialist, professional service with high standards of advice and support and resolving cases of varying complexity as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, legislation, professional codes of practice and adherence to council policy.
  • Deliver projects, interventions and initiatives and develop policies (together with the Strategy teams) in-line with corporate and business plans.
  • Ensure and develop appropriate levels of quality and specialist knowledge within the Case Management and Customer Services teams.
  • To ensure that enquiries and cases are managed and completed at the appropriate level (within Specialist teams, Case Management and Customer Services).
