Quantity Surveyor

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded tier 1 main contractor on an exciting upcoming scheme. The business operates across several sectors with projects across the industrial, defence, education and life sciences valuing between 5mil - 70mil. Having recently secured a new project in the South, they're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a project valued under 10mil and will be responsible for the project from the early procurement stage, reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

  • Manage sub-contract procurement
  • Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
  • Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
  • Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

  • Hold a HNC / construction related degree
  • Have administered JCT forms of contract
  • Must have the full right to work in the UK
  • Must be happy to commute to Sites as required
