Position: Humanities Teacher (Permanent/Supply/Day to Day)Location: Guildford, SurreyYear Group: KS3 / KS4 / (KS5 optional)Salary: £33,075 - £50,471 per annum / £150 - £250 per dayContract: Permanent / Supply / Day to Day
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 optional depending on experience)
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and historical/geographical awareness through dynamic teaching
- Support students of all abilities in achieving their potential
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and experienced Humanities team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, RE, or a related Humanities subject
- ESSENTIAL - QTS or equivalent and experience teaching in a Secondary School
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Humanities education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and student success
